Complete fraudulent vintage watch dealer from my family's native Italy. This franken Zenith Defy was never in production and I will quickly break down some of the major issues and red flags to save your wallet. I have seen several of these pop up over the last year always very similar mash up of parts.
Lets start with the Box- Late 1970s (1977-79)
Bezel - never used on a defy
Case- late 1960s
Dial- compete repaint job with font of defy of 1971, logo from mid 1970s Zenith Branded only
Lume- 1990s painted relume job
Crown- mid 1970s
Movement- compete total criminal dogshit Movado signed rotor from a 2562pc movement attached to a completely different movement, inside a fake rubber cage ????/ fuck me this is bad
