Acquired from the original owner's son , this wonderfully preserved Doxa has a stunning unmolested dial. The chapter is metallic , changing with light , and wounds so wonderfully for the cost , this as humble , and bang per buck dress piece can get. Dial measures 35mm not including the crown , and lugs extend making it wear much bigger. The dome is original and is almost as thick as the watch case. Serial number dates this watch production to 1947. Nickel case has some chrome plate wearing off , but just enough to go with the dial patina , and it was quite common for many 1930's and 1940's cases to be nickel , especially wartime.
