This Girard Perregaux High Frequency Chronometer from the early 1970's is in incredible , unpolished

condition. Feauturing the original supplied bracelet made by Gay Freres with not so common "Bark" finished center links made for this model only. Inside is the Caliber 42.4 , the  2nd generation of the world's first  36,000BPH Chronometer movements GP introduced. Important to note during this time period these High Frequency Chronometer movements were the exact reason why Girard Perregaux was awarded the Centenary Award from the Neuchatel Observatory. These High Frequency Chronometers were priced 2/3rds more than a Rolex Daytona back then!
