I hate using the word "investment" when it comes to vintage watches but I truly believe this very late 60's Nivada in near new old stock condition is one of them. As someone who's been following the market for decades I've seen brands come and ago , with forgotten history , Universal Geneve being one of them.

Collecting vintage Nivada can be tricky , because I beleive it was the 50's 60's Models specifically like the  Antartics , Steel Waterproof Sports models , Divers  and Aviator chronographs that are the gems. Those specific models are already rising in value. Those two decades captured the Golden Age of Nivada in terms of them manufacturing their unique , robust steel cases and using ETA movements at a time when it was high quality and had few cutting edge features.

This waterproof case Nivada Automatic comes from the Original Owner who has never worn it. It is near NOS because the movement was overhauled by me , but the original box and  even the original caseback sticker is there with some grime from the glue aging which I refuse to remove, and will let the new owner decide. The Day and Date has a quickset with the crown which makes it incredibly easy to use. Every single part of the watch is original down to the crystal and the watch is keeping near COSC spec time. The Chapter ring actually looks just that of a 6262 "Newman" Daytona from the same period.  This is a great watch you do not want to miss.
