Pieces like this 1952 Omega Calatrava with a Fab Suisse signed dial have become extremely rare to encounter. Sold to the French market his piece was purchased from the original owner. The leaf style stainless steel hands plays well against the natural patina of the dial varying from near white to champagne based on lighting. This particular example dates to the early 1950s, the period of time in which Omega began signing crowns as on this example. The 34 mm stainless steel case is in untouched and unpolished condition. The watch features Omega’s caliber 30T2 manual wind movement which was utilized by Omega in some fashion throughout four decades, and currently keeping excellent time.
