This unique cushion cased early 1970’s Omega 6026/R is being offered currently for sale. Housed in an unpolished 34.75mm brushed stainless-steel case, the hypnotizing dial is reminiscent of old school TV static interference. The pattern is done in a bold, yet not overwhelming way, as to not disturb the visual aesthetics of the dial and ease of telling time. The negative space on the dial is used to perfectly complement the funky 70s vibes.
The Omega Calibre 750 automatic day date, 17 jewel movement is one of the last great ones to come out of Omega prior to the Quartz Crisis. Movement is currently keeping excellent time and has been regulated prior to sale. Original lume is still applied to the hands, which were tastefully selected by Omega to not draw any attention away from the dial pattern, but still provide excellent clarity for reading the time. Features the original signed Omega crown, and they carefully selected new old stock period 18mm stainless steel bracelet which adds a sporty elegance, rounding out the funky designs of the case and dial. Also a custom made 18mm CITES sourced black dyed elephant strap was included with sale.
